BODY TONING
Grade Level: 9, 10, 11, 12 One Semester/.5 credit
Prerequisite: Personal Fitness or Instructor Approval
Body Toning is an advanced elective offering where the student will focus on their personal health and wellness. The course is designed for the student that is interested in concepts related to cardiorespiratory endurance such as running and circuit training, as well as toning exercises including those that target specific areas of the body. The student will utilize the fitness center, gymnasium, pool and a variety of apparatuses to aid in the development of the student’s overall health and wellness goals. Assessments could include a
variety of group projects and/or routines, fitness plans, health logs, and rigorous daily participation.
